Negotiation & Counsel
Relationship-driven negotiation and long-term advisory for owners and boards.
Most consequential matters are resolved by agreement, not by judgment. The value of experienced counsel at the table is preparation: knowing the facts more completely than anyone else in the room, and understanding what the other side must justify internally.
The same judgment applies to standing advisory work — the recurring calls from an owner, a chief executive, or a board chair about a decision that has not yet been made.
Representative work
- Negotiating the exit of a minority owner under a deadlocked operating agreement
- Advising a board through a leadership transition with lender and customer implications
- Resolving a commercial dispute before either party filed suit
